Service Address (Director, PSC, Secretary, Subscriber)

To remove a residential address that is being used as a service address, an application needs to be made to Companies House under section 1088 of the Companies Act 2006. Our fee for undertaking this application is £85 plus VAT per document on which the address appears (this includes the Companies House disbursement fee). Registered Office Address

Unfortunately, it is not normally possible to remove a registered office from the public record, even if it is your home address. You can change your registered office at any time to a new address, so that is not immediately viewable when your company is searched. However, the old registered office address can still be found in the company’s filing history. The only way to have a registered office address removed from public view is through a court order. These orders are generally only given in exceptional circumstances involving personal security threats.

Please note: Due to the recent passing of the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023, it will be possible at some point in the future to remove your residential address from public record where it has been placed as a registered office address. However, this change is not yet live.
