A Person with Significant Control (PSC) refers to an individual who has a significant influence or control over a company. This concept was introduced by the UK government to increase transparency and accountability in corporate governance. Anyone with more than 25% of shares in a limited company is automatically a PSC; however, people or corporate entities with less than 25% of shares in a company may still qualify as a PSC.
